The X-ist art gallery showcases the work of young painters all year round. The gallery is located in the basement of an apartment in Abdi İpekçi, one of Nişantaşı’s most important fashion districts. While it was a flat used as a house with five rooms and a living room before, we aimed to use white color to create the main exhibition space in an open space and to make the works stand out, as we will transform it into an art gallery.

For this reason, we have created a large main exhibition space and a closed office space at the end of the space. We completed our space with white bricks and texture paints. Transparent epoxy on concrete was chosen to create a cold atmosphere by contrasting the pictures. Although the gallery is in the basement, the small courtyard in front of the main exhibition space helps both to let the daylight in and to attract the attention of the people walking on the upper level.
